Therapy for Anxiety & Chronic Stress
Support for when your mind and body have been on high alert for too long
Anxiety can feel like a mind that never fully settles - always scanning, anticipating, or preparing for what might go wrong.
It may show up as racing thoughts, excessive worry, panic attacks, physical tension, restlessness, irritability, difficulty concentrating, trouble sleeping, or feeling unable to fully relax. Even in quiet moments, there can be a sense of unease underneath the surface.
These experiences are not personal flaws. They are patterns of a nervous system that has learned to stay alert.
Common concerns I help with include:
Generalized anxiety
Chronic worry and overthinking
Panic attacks
Health anxiety
Perfectionism
Stress and overwhelm
Anxiety related to life transitions
Work-related stress and burnout
How I can help
I provide anxiety therapy for adults in Maine and PSYPACT states via telehealth.
My approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from cognitive and behavioral therapies, along with somatic and mindfulness-informed strategies. Together we work to soften reactivity, decrease physical and emotional tension, reduce worry, and build strategies that support long-term stability.
Anxiety treatment is not about eliminating all anxiety - it’s about reducing its intensity, frequency, and impact on your life.
With treatment, many people notice less constant mental “noise,” reduced tension, improved sleep and rest, increased focus and clarity, and more confidence navigating stress.
