Therapy for Trauma & PTSD
Helping you live with greater stability, ease, and steadiness
Stressful or traumatic events can leave lasting imprints on both mind and body. often in ways that aren’t immediately visible.
You may feel on edge, easily triggered, or persistently watchful. Trust can feel distant or hard to access. At times, the nervous system responds with anxiety or overwhelm; at others, with numbness, shutdown, or disconnection.
These responses are not signs of failure. They are how the nervous system adapts to overwhelming experiences.
How I can help
I provide trauma therapy and PTSD treatment for adults in Maine and PSYPACT states via telehealth.
Therapy offers a steady space to work with the impact of trauma and chronic stress, supporting a gradual return to emotional safety, regulation, and internal steadiness.
My approach is integrative and trauma-focused, drawing from evidence-based methods including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), one of the most effective treatments for PTSD.
Together, we work to:
Understand how trauma has shaped your thoughts and responses
Reduce emotional reactivity and distress
Process traumatic experiences in a safe and structured way
Strengthen emotional regulation and stability
Rebuild a sense of internal safety and steadiness
As trauma symptoms improve, many people notice improved sleep and reduced hypervigilance, greater sense of calm and stability, fewer intrusive thoughts or distressing memories, and increased sense of safety in relationships and daily life.
